Montfort College

 

Montfort College offers education at pre-university education, senior general secondary education (HAVO) and MAVO level. With the Inclusive Schedule, students have fewer lessons per day that last longer. In addition, they receive daily homework guidance during school hours and have the option of optional work time during off-peak hours.

Since July 2018, Montfort College has been developing into a Dalton school. This means that the school pays extra attention to the five pillars of Dalton education: independence, responsibility, cooperation, effectiveness and reflection. As a result, students learn important skills that help them in society and they feel more involved in the school.

At Montfort College, all sectors and profiles are offered at three levels. In addition, students can enroll in programs such as Chinese, Cambridge and Business English, and Goethe German, through which they can earn officially recognized certificates.

Since 2016, the school has been housed in a modern building with facilities such as good WiFi, a lift and wheelchair-friendly toilets.

Characteristic of Montfort College are its small scale, committed teachers, Dalton education in the making, support at school, and working with laptops in the classroom.

On special occasions, such as a graduation ceremony, the Rotterdam Balloon Company provides festive balloon decorations.
