Hogeschool Academieplein

 

The Academieplein location of Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences is a historic and important place in the city, housed in the old HTS building. This location has a rich history, originally known as the Academy of Visual Arts and Technical Sciences, before it was later split into the HTS and the Art Academy.

Today, the Academieplein location houses the engineering courses of the current HTS and HLO, where students deal with technical and scientific issues of our time. It is a place where theoretical knowledge and practical skills come together, and where innovative solutions are developed for complex challenges.
