Rotterdam Balloon Company delivers (Helium) Balloons and Balloondecorations to individuals and businesses in Rotterdam - and in particular for the Rotterdam hospitality industry - an exclusive service when it comes to the delivery of (last minute) balloons and helium with an 'agreement is agreement' mentality.

The Rotterdam Balloon Company is a permanent or well-known supplier of balloons at many locations in Rotterdam. That is why we can inform our customers well about the possibilities with balloons in these places.

We deliver 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Rotterdam and are personally available to our customers from early in the morning to late in the evening. Moreover, as a service provider in the higher segment, we know better than anyone how much it is valued to be recognized as a VIP, and to be treated as such.

Price List

The prices below are based on BUY (not RENT) so everything is your property after payment. We deliver the balloon decorations ready for use - filled with air or helium - to your home or location and put them at the desired spots so you don't have to do anything about it yourself.

We only use the best quality, non flammable, 100% biodegradable latex balloons that are guaranteed free from Nitrasamines. Nitrasamines are carcinogenic substances that occur in many cheap (often Chinese) balloons.

We always supply spare balloons with the balloon decorations that you can use to replace leaking balloons yourself. And of course we will explain how you can replace the leaking balloons. This way you keep the balloon decorations last longer.

As a hospitality entrepreneur you are happy to give your customers some extras. It is very normal to keep looking for ways to distinguish yourself from others and surprise your customers. Understanding consumers and their needs is the key to a successful hospitality business.

Make the perfect first impression.

The first impression is a very important one, and you only get the chance to make a good impression once. The table is the first thing guests have to deal with. And if there is something to celebrate, then balloons are part of it. This can be in the form of a bunch of balloons on the table or the age of the person in large foil balloon numbers, see photo below. For you as a hospitality entrepreneur, this service is free because you can charge these costs directly to the customer.

How does it work?

  1. Guests who come for something to eat at your bar restaurant in Rotterdam and have something to celebrate, you can ask them - when they make a reservation - if they want balloons at their table. For example a bunch of balloons on the table or the age of the person in large foil numbers.
  2. If your client wants balloons, send us a Whatsapp message or call +31 (0)10-3073668 and let us know what you need and when you need is.
  3. We will deliver the balloons on the agreed day and time and you will pay cash with the delivery person.
  4. The guests come to eat in your bar restaurant and when they are finished, you put the ordered balloons on there bill.

Another advantage of our balloon service is that you will not be fed up with different colors in your shop. Guests who celebrate their birthday with you and bring their own balloons come with all different colored balloons and your business looks like a circus. You can prevent this with our balloon service. After all, we always deliver the same (pre-agreed) color balloons. And of course you can always make an exception by letting your guests choose the colors of their balloons themselves.

We provide a high-end balloon service and have a 'the sky is the limit' mentality, but we are also well aware that in a number of situations we cannot charge delivery costs. The following conditions apply to free delivery:

  1. Follow us on Instagram @rotterdamsballonnenbedrijf and when you tag your photos with #RotterdamsBallonnenbedrijf you can be sure that we will see your photos, we always love to see photos of our balloons from our loyal followers.
  2. Orders for this afternoon / evening should be placed latest (preferably earlier) in the morning. Rush orders in consultation.
  3. Free delivery applies to delivery in the ground floor in Rotterdam Center, Delfshaven, Overschie, Noord, Hillegersberg, Schiebroek, Kralingen, Crooswijk, Feijenoord, IJsselmonde, Charlois.
  4. We can deliver at your address through out all day until the evening. We cannot agree an exact time in advance because we combine the ride with other customers.

Do you not meet all the conditions?

We can always deliver to you, but then we will have to drive especially for you. And that is certainly not a problem, we are very happy to do that, but we do have to charge delivery costs. In that case, the delivery costs are:

If you want to use a balloon arch or 2 balloon columns at your opening, we can supply a luxury opening ribbon (possibly printed with a text and / or your logo) to be cut during the ribbon cutting ceremony.

This ribbon is 100mm wide and costs you 10 euros per meter including VAT and printing in 1 color. You can choose from 55 colors of ribbon and 14 colors of printing. Unprinted it is half the price. At an additional cost of 5 euros per print, we can also print your logo in full color on a white ribbon. We print in-house so we can deliver within a day.

Send us a message with your wishes in terms of colors, theme and / or occasion and we will make a beautiful balloon bouquet and deliver it to the recipient at home or at the office in Rotterdam on the agreed date.

Attention!
Because we receive many last-minute rush orders, we have to deal with the balloons that we have in stock at that time. In addition, not all balloons are available for the European market. That is the reason why you cannot choose a specific balloon (except the colors and theme of course) but the design of the bouquet must be left to our expertise. However, we will certainly not disappoint you.

Guarantee!
We guarantee that the number and type of balloons in the balloon bouquet always correspond to 1 of the balloon bouquets in the photo below and that all latex balloons in the bouquet remain floating for at least 3 to 5 days. The foil balloons can float for weeks or months and can always be refilled. So you can expect at least a similar balloon bouquet.

FAQ

Is it possible to send a Whatsapp message to a 010 number?

Yes, it is possible for us to receive Whatsapp messages on a fixed telephone line. We also prefer contact via Whatsapp. If it is not possible to send us a Whatsapp message, please email us your number or give us a call and we will send you a Whatsapp message.

 

Do you only deliver to Rotterdam?

No, we deliver throughout the Netherlands and even beyond that. It is only so that we deliver balloons every day in Rotterdam and therefore you pay no delivery costs in Rotterdam.

 

Why are delivery costs still charged in Rotterdam?

In most cases, this is because you only want to receive the balloons at a specific time and then we have to come to Rotterdam especially for you. We can only deliver for free if we can visit you all day (between 11am and 5pm) and therefore deliver the balloons to you on the way.

 

Do you also print balloons with your own print?

Yes sure! We can already print the 33cm balloons - which we use in all our balloon decorations and as helium balloons - from 25 pieces. We can even print the 90cm giant balloons from 1 piece with your text or logo in 1 color. Check here the additional cost and the delivery time.

 

How are helium balloons delivered?

The helium balloons are delivered to you ready-made, that means filled with helium and a ribbon attached to it. In most cases we will deliver them ready-made with a delivery van, but in a few cases (if it no longer fits in the delivery van) we will fill the balloons on site.

 

How long do helium balloons float?

The helium balloons that we deliver to Rotterdam will certainly float for around 14-16 hours. We can also treat helium balloons at an additional cost of 1.00 euros with a gel (Hi-FLOAT) so that they can float for a few days. The giant 90cm helium balloons (cloudbusters) will last a few days without HI-FLOAT.

 

How many balloons are needed to fill a ceiling?

A standard sized helium balloon has - if you look from the side - a vertical diameter of 30cm (measured from top to bottom). But if a helium balloon is hanging against the ceiling and you look from below, the balloon only has a horizontal diameter of 25 cm. This means that there are a maximum of 4 rows of 4 balloons = 16 balloons in 1 square meter. Well, then there is no longer a piece of ceiling to be seen. As a rule, if you calculate with 9 balloons per square meter (m2) - so 3 rows of 3 balloons - the ceiling is nice and well filled.

 

How long do balloon decorations last?

Balloon decorations that used inside last a week and you always get spare balloons and a short explanation on how you can replace the leaking or popped balloons yourself. Balloon decorations outside are generally less durable because they always influence external factors such as people touching them and the weather. Balloons catch a lot of wind and balloons can not stand the full sun (light colors better than dark colors). Rain makes helium balloons wet and therefore heavy so that they come down to the floor early.

 

What is the best way to store inflated balloons?

Do not leave latex balloons outside overnight. Because the balloons shrink at night due to the cold and expand during the day due to the heat, the balloons will pop. Prevent this by keeping the balloons indoors overnight.

 

Why do balloons spontaneously pop or deflate?

Balloons don't tolerate heat well! Preferably do not use dark colors in balloon decorations that have to be outside in the sun. Dark colored balloons absorb heat, become dull and porous and can therefore spontaneously burst or deflate. Light colored balloons reflect sunlight and are therefore less likely to decompose. This also applies to warm indoor spaces.

 

Why do balloons get dull?

That's because of the sun / heat. Dark colored balloons absorb sunlight and heat and will break down faster than light colored balloons. Therefore, choose light colored balloons in warm weather. This also applies to warm indoor spaces.

 

Do I have a warranty on the balloons?

You always get spare balloons from us to be able to repair leaking balloons, but because balloons are so fragile and can pop due to so many factors - over which we have no influence - we cannot give a solid guarantee. However, if there is a real need for the balloons to be replaced, call us or send a Whatsapp message to +31 (0)10-3073668 to discuss the options. We may still be in the area.

 

Can you release helium balloons in Rotterdam?

We stand for a clean environment and that is why we no longer release balloons for some time. Since January 1st. 2020, the release of helium balloons in Rotterdam has been prohibited. After all, everything that goes up, must come down and ends up in nature once in a while and we don't want that offcourse. The prohibition applies to balloons in all shapes and materials that are released into the air by means of helium or another gas or fire source. Balloons that are tied on something or being held are still allowed, but only if they are cleaned up properly.

 

Will you come to collect the supports of the balloon decos again?

The balloon decorations that we deliver in Rotterdam are on supports of disposable material that you may throw away or keep after use. This is cheaper than having to pick them up again. However, we will gladly take them with us again when we visit you again for the next delivery.

 

Do you have a balloon shop in Rotterdam?

No, we do not have a physical balloon shop in Rotterdam. You cannot collect balloons in Rotterdam either because we are not always present there. However, you can view, discuss and collect balloons by appointment at our colleague in Spijkenisse. Our online balloon shop can be found here.

 

Can I also have 1 helium balloon delivered to someone today or tomorrow?

Amazing service. Seriously I wish I knew about them before. On their website they said they closed early that day but I still tried my luck and sent them a WhatsApp, which they answered immediately. I made the order, agreed on timing, paid through tikkie, ALL on whatsapp. How convenient. Definitely my go to place for future events!!! Love the detaila of the website. I highly recommend Rotterdams Ballonnen Bedrijf as they are very responsive, professional, and helpful. In two different occasions, they prepared and delivered our orders without any problems and everything was in perfect condition. Ballonnenboog

Een ballonnenboog is een boog van 11 inch ballonnen die vaak voor de ingang wordt geplaatst, waar gasten onderdoor naar binnen gaan. Een ballonnenboog voor de deur is een opvallende blikvanger en een hartelijk welkom voor uw gasten bij een huwelijk, een opening of ieder andere feestelijke gelegenheid.

De ballonboog wordt kant en klaar bij u voor de deur neer gezet. De ballonnen in de ballonnenboog zijn ook allemaal opgeblazen, u hoeft er zelf niets aan te doen.

De houdbaarheid van een ballonnenboog bedraagt tussen de 1 en 5 dagen. Een ballonnenboog die buiten tegen de ingang staat, is prima vast te zetten en daarmee veel minder kwetsbaar dan een ballonnenboog die vrij staat. Zorg er daarom altijd voor dat wij de ballonnenboog ergens tegenaan vast kunnen zetten zodat deze niet kan omwaaien bij slecht weer. Als de ballonnenboog binnen moet komen te staan dan hoeft u daar geen rekening mee te houden.

Wij leveren altijd reserve ballonnen bij onze ballondecoraties waarmee u eventuele lek geraakte 11 inch ballonnen kunt vervangen.

Ballonpilaar

Een ballonpilaar is een staander van 11 inch ballonnen met daar bovenop een grote (hart)ballon met een diameter van maarliefst 90cm die vaak per 2 aan weerszijden van de ingang worden geplaatst, waar gasten tussendoor naar binnen gaan. Een ballonpilaar voor de deur is een opvallende blikvanger en een hartelijk welkom voor uw gasten bij een huwelijk, een opening of ieder andere feestelijke gelegenheid.

De ballonpilaar wordt kant en klaar bij u voor de deur neer gezet. De ballonnen in de ballonpilaar zijn ook allemaal opgeblazen, u hoeft er zelf niets aan te doen.

Cloudbuster

Een cloudbuster is een grote helium gevulde latex- of folieballon aan een 2 a 3 meter lang lint. Een ballongewicht (vaak een stevige kleine ballon in bijpassende kleur, gevuld met zand of water) zorgt dat de cloudbuster niet wegzweeft. De knoop van de grote ballon wordt afgewerkt met een trosje van 4 kleine ballonnetjes. Cloudbusters worden vaak per 2 aan weerszijden van de ingang geplaatst, waar gasten tussendoor naar binnen gaan maar cloudbusters zijn ook uitermate geschikt ter decoratie / opvulling van (grote) ruimten.

De cloudbuster wordt kant en klaar bij u bezorgd. De ballonnen in de cloudbuster zijn ook allemaal opgeblazen en de grote topballon is gevuld met helium, u hoeft er zelf niets aan te doen.

De zweeftijd van een coudbuster met een latex topballon bedraagt ca. 5 dagen. De zweeftijd van een cloudbuster met een folieballon bovenop kan wel weken of maanden blijven zweven en is zelfs steeds bij te vullen met helium.

Cloudbusters zijn echte windvangers en blijven buiten daarom nooit altijd 100% rechtop staan maar waaien een beetje heen en weer. Zorg er daarom altijd voor dat een cloudbuster nergens tegenaan kapot kan waaien. Als de cloudbusters binnen moeten komen te staan dan hoeft u daar geen rekening mee te houden.

Heliumballonnen

Heliumballonnen zijn losse helium gevulde ballonnen aan een lintje die u bijvoorbeeld ter decoratie los tegen het plafond kunt laten zweven of u laat ze op in de lucht tijdens een openingshandeling of ballonnenwedstrijd. Ook worden heliumballonnen vaak opgelaten bij een uitvaart.

Als losse heliumballonnen kunnen we eigenlijk iedere latex- of folieballon wel gebruiken vanaf een grootte van 9 inch. De meerprijs is dezelfde prijs die u zou betalen voor de ballonnen op de desbetreffende website(s) met inachtname van de minimale afname aldaar.

Heliumballonnen worden in een of meerdere trossen, kant en klaar bij u bezorgd. De ballonnen zijn ook allemaal gevuld met helium en voorzien van een lintje, u hoeft er zelf niets aan te doen.

De zweeftijd van 11 inch latex heliumballonnen bedraagt ca. 12 - 14 uur. We kunnen deze ballonnen eventueel behandelen met HI-FLOAT (een dun onzichtbaar beschermlaagje aan de binnenkant van de ballon waardoor de helium minder snel de ballon verlaat) zodat de ballonnen ca 1 - 2 dagen blijven zweven. De meerprijs voor deze behandeling bedraagt 1 euro per ballon.

Heliumballonnen die buiten worden gebruikt, zijn echte windvangers en blijven daarom nooit altijd 100% rechtop staan maar waaien een beetje heen en weer. Tafeldecoratie

Een tafeldecoratie bestaat uit 3 of 5 of meer (in ieder geval een oneven aantal) heliumgevulde ballonnen welke allemaal door middel van een lintje vast zitten aan een ballongewicht en zo boven de tafel (of grond) zweven. Tafeldecoraties worden vaak op eettafels of op statafels neergezet ter decoratie van de ruimte. We kunnen de heliumballonnen ook voorzien van langere linten zodat u ze als gronddecoraties kunt gebruiken in een ruimte of aan weerszijde van een ingang.

De tafeldecoraties worden kant en klaar bij u bezorgd. De ballonnen in de tafeldecoraties zijn ook allemaal gevuld met helium, u hoeft er zelf niets aan te doen.

De zweeftijd van 11 inch latex ballonnen in een tafeldecoratie bedraagt ca. 12 - 14 uur. We kunnen deze ballonnen eventueel behandelen met HI-FLOAT (een dun onzichtbaar beschermlaagje aan de binnenkant van de ballon waardoor de helium minder snel de ballon verlaat) zodat de ballonnen ca 1 - 2 dagen blijven zweven. Om de zweeeftijd van de tafeldecoraties te verlengen, zouden we eventueel tegen een meerprijs 16 inch of 24 inch latex ballonnen kunnen gebruiken. Of eventueel folieballonnen die wel weken of maanden lang blijven zweven en zelfs steeds bij te vullen zijn met helium.

Tafeldecoraties die buiten staan, zijn echte windvangers en blijven daarom nooit altijd 100% rechtop staan maar waaien een beetje heen en weer. Zorg er daarom altijd voor dat een tafel- of gronddecoratie buiten nergens tegenaan kapot kan waaien. Als de tafeldecoraties binnen moeten komen te staan dan hoeft u daar geen rekening mee te houden.

Heliumboog

Een heliumboog is een lijn waar aan om de 30cm een heliumballon wordt bevestigd. De uiteinden van de lijn zitten vast aan ballongewichten. Omdat de heliumballonnen de lijn omhoog houden, ontstaat de heliumboog. Een heliumboog kan worden gebruikt om onderdoor te lopen of boven een cadeautafel.

De zweeftijd van de 11 inch latex heliumballonnen in de heliumboog bedraagt ca. 12 - 14 uur. We kunnen deze ballonnen eventueel behandelen met HI-FLOAT (een dun onzichtbaar beschermlaagje aan de binnenkant van de ballon waardoor de helium minder snel de ballon verlaat) zodat de ballonnen ca 1 - 2 dagen blijven zweven. De meerprijs voor deze behandeling bedraagt 1 euro per ballon.

Ballonnenhart

Een ballonnenhart is een ijzeren frame in de vorm van een hart (maar we kunnen iedere denkbare vorm maken) met een diameter van 130cm welke is omkleed met kleine 5 inch ballonnen. Deze ballondecoratie is bedoelt om op te hangen of ergens tegenaan te zetten maar ook leuk om voor je vast te houden als levensgroot fotolijstje. Een ballonnenhart wordt ook vaak gebruikt ter decoratie bij een uitvaart.

De ballondecoratie wordt kant en klaar bij u bezorgd. De ballonnen zijn ook allemaal opgeblazen. Het enige wat u zelf moet doen is het ophangen of neer zetten, dit zit niet in de prijs inbegrepen.

De houdbaarheid van zo'n ballondecoratie bedraagt 1 - 3 weken. Een ballonnenhart welke binnen gebruikt wordt, zal langer mee gaan dan een soortgelijke ballondecoratie buiten die veel meer van invloed is op het weer.

Ballonslinger

Een ballonslinger is in principe hetzelfde als een ballonboog echter is een ballonslinger niet bedoelt om onder door te lopen maar om ergens langs te laten lopen en zo daarop de aandacht te vestigen.

De ballonslinger wordt kant en klaar bij u bezorgd. De ballonnen in de ballonslinger zijn ook allemaal opgeblazen. Het enige wat u zelf moet doen is het ophangen van de ballonslinger, dit zit niet in de prijs inbegrepen.

De houdbaarheid van een ballonslinger bedraagt tussen de 1 en 5 dagen. Een ballonslinger welke binnen gebruikt wordt, zal langer mee gaan dan een ballonslinger buiten die veel meer van invloed is op het weer.
