Born out of necessity, Dikke Mic opened its doors on Vijverhofstraat as an authentic Japanese karaoke bar. It all started with the always-packed karaoke room at Mooie Boules. Now, just a door down, Dikke Mic offers eight private karaoke rooms in the basement, fully equipped with high-end karaoke systems, available for groups of 4 to 30 people. Every first Friday of the month, Dikke Mic transforms into Dikke Mix, where all the rooms open and the ground floor becomes a dance floor. There was already a Seoul Sista on Hartmanstraat, but another location opened on Weena, recognizable by the striking mural. Here too, visitors can try their hand at authentic Korean BBQ, while cocktails are served from behind the bar.
