There are dozens of hotels around the Erasmus Bridge, but due to the many skyscrapers in the city and on the Kop van Zuid, only 6 hotels offer a good view of the Swan. These are the hotel rooms of the only 6 hotels in Rotterdam with the most breathtaking views of the romantic Erasmus Bridge. We've stayed in most of the hotel rooms on the list below, so we speak from experience ;-)

NHOW Hotel

At the top of the list! The NHOW Hotel is literally at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge on the Kop van Zuid. So close you could almost touch the Swan. The view from your bed and basically from the entire NHOW Suite is breathtaking. You simply won’t find a better view of the bridge than through the 15-meter-high floor-to-ceiling windows. With a view like this, you’ll only want to sleep with the curtains open. Can you only admire the Erasmus Bridge from the suite? No, even from the smaller and cheaper NHOW Premium rooms with skyline view, you have a spectacular view of the bridge from your hotel bed. The NHOW Hotel is without a doubt a design hotel with one hell of a view!

Maashotel Rotterdam Centre

On the other side of the Maas, in the center of Rotterdam, is the Maashotel Rotterdam Centre at number 2. Waking up in the Panorama Top Room and the Panorama Junior Suite is literally waking up with the Erasmus Bridge at your feet. Sitting on the wide window sills, you can enjoy a spectacular and panoramic view of the bridge. The Panorama Junior Suite also features a private sauna, a two-person whirlpool, bathrobes, and slippers. It doesn’t get more romantic than this.

Thon Hotel

Also at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge on the city center side is the Thon Hotel. From the Superior room with river view, located on the corner of the hotel, you have a great view of the Erasmus Bridge and the Maas. Literally in front of the hotel is the Spido boarding point, where you can take a harbor cruise or day trip, sailing under the Erasmus Bridge. A unique experience.

Pincoffs Suite Hotel

The charming Suite Hotel Pincoffs is a romantic boutique hotel on the Kop van Zuid, directly on the water between the Erasmus Bridge and the iconic red Willemsbrug. From the DeLuxe River View Room and the Mezzanine Room, you can see both bridges when you look out the window, and from the Rooftop Suite on the 3rd floor, you have a decent view of the Swan. But those windows are small and high, and it’s not quite perfect. No, for the most spectacular view of the Erasmus Bridge and panoramic views of the Maas and the rest of the Rotterdam skyline, book one of the two Corner Suites (the Pincoffs Style on the 1st floor or the Love Style on the 2nd floor).

SS Rotterdam

No floor-to-ceiling windows but portholes on the SS Rotterdam. This former cruise ship of the Holland America Line, once destined for New York, has now been converted into a hotel and is permanently moored in the center of Rotterdam. Book a Superior Room or Deluxe Room on the port side (land side), and you’ll have a lovely view of the Erasmus Bridge through the authentic round portholes. It gets even better when you walk from the promenade deck to the stern of the ship. From the aft deck, you have a stunning view of the port of Rotterdam with the Swan further in the distance. Tip! Ask the reception to call a water taxi for you, which will pick you up from the B-deck and sail under the Erasmus Bridge to the city center.

Euromast

Last but not least, the Euromast with undoubtedly the best view in Rotterdam. And what if I told you that you could also wake up to this breathtaking view from your bed? At 100 meters high, there are 2 suites with the highest balcony in Rotterdam. Waking up with your head in the clouds. Both the Suite Stars and the Suite Heaven offer spectacular views, but it is Suite Heaven that looks out over Het Park, the Erasmus Bridge, and the skyscrapers on the Kop van Zuid.
