Globos offers a wide range of products and services to help you decorate your party or funeral. With our Balloon Filling Service we offer various options to meet your needs. With more than 30 solid color balloons, 100 printed latex balloons and more than 150 foil balloons in stock, we almost certainly have the balloon you are looking for. Globos fills both latex balloons as foil balloons with air or helium and possibly treated with Hi-Float. Standard latex balloons float for approximately 12-14 hours and foil balloons can float for several weeks or months, depending on the environment in which the balloons are used. Hi-Float extends the floating time of latex balloons by creating a kind of film layer in the balloon. A standard latex balloon treated with Hi-Float can float for up to a week.
In House Filling Service
You can go to Spijkenisse for filling of just a few individual balloons to orders for large party locations. We do ask that you place large orders (orders of 1000 balloons or more) at least 2 weeks in advance so that we can ensure that there are enough helium and balloons in house to meet your wishes. For all balloon orders, please contact us in advance (or respond to this message at the bottom of this page) to ensure we can accept your order, as some days (particularly Saturdays) book up quickly.
Plan your trip to Spijkenisse
Do not come to Spijkenisse with the whole family. Of course that's a lot of fun, but the more people in the backseat, the fewer balloons you can take with you. Also make sure that the car is almost empty. Experience shows that approximately 40 helium-filled balloons fit in a hatchback car and approximately 50 balloons in a station wagon. You will receive helium balloons in a bunch (each balloon has a ribbon attached to it) and we will put larger numbers of air-filled balloons in a bag. We can possibly make a ground or table decoration from the helium balloons. We then arrange a number of balloons at different heights and tie the ribbons to a balloon weight so that you can place them on the table or floor as decorations. Please feel free to contact us to ask (or respond to this message at the bottom of this page) which balloons we have in stock and to discuss how you would like the balloons presented. Our filling service includes filling balloons with air, helium and helium in combination with Hi-FLoat.

Attention!
A normal sized 11 inch balloon contains 0.015m3 (0.015 cubic meters) of helium and that costs 1 euro incl. VAT and excl. the balloon itself.
In the Qualatex Helium Chart you can find exactly how many m3 (cubic meters) of helium are available in the 'Gas Capacity' column in most other sized balloons. Divide this value (m3) by 0.015 and so you know exactly how much it costs to fill this balloon with helium.
Example 1:
Suppose you want to fill a giant balloon of 90cm (3 feet or 36 inches or 3') with helium, you will see in the table that there is 0.425 m3 of helium if you were to fill it up to 76cm (we usually do). 0.226 divided by 0.015 = 15 euros incl. VAT.
Example 2:
Suppose you want to buy 40 metallic latex balloons filled with helium from us, then it costs 40 times 1 euro for the helium and 40 times 0.20 euros for the balloon. So 40 x 1.20 euros = 48 euros incl. VAT, balloon, helium and ribbon.
This also works with a Hi-FLOAT treatment. Treating a normal sized balloon with Hi-Float costs 0.50 euros. Using the above calculation example you can calculate how much Hi-Float will fit into different size balloons.
You can keep the price of helium minus a 75% discount when filling balloons with air.
To use the helium balloons in a ground or table decoration, we charge 2.50 euros incl. VAT and balloon weight.
Have your own balloons filled with helium
Bought cheap balloons at Ali Express or somewhere else? No problem, we are happy to fill your balloons even if you did not purchase them from us, but we do not guarantee the quality of these balloons. We do charge a little extra for this because the filling mouth of a (for example) Chinese balloon is often more difficult to reach. And if the balloon bursts - despite our advanced filling station which automatically stops as soon as the balloon is completely filled - we will have to charge for the helium. The helicopterAfter all, um is used up and gone.
An alternative would be to fill the balloons yourself at home using a disposable helium tank.
Fill balloons at home with Helium
You can also fill the balloons at home with helium using: our lightweight disposable helium tanks. These come in 2 types: Large and Small. The large helium bottle costs 49.95 euros incl. VAT and with it you can fill approximately 50 small balloons or 28 normal size balloons. The small helium tank costs 39.95 euros incl. VAT and with it you can fill 30 small helium balloons or 20 normal size. By small balloons we mean balloons with a float time of approximately 6-8 hours and by normal size balloons we mean balloons with a float time of 12-14 hours.
It is always cheaper to have us fill the balloons with helium, but the big advantage of these disposable helium tanks is that you can fill the balloons yourself as late as possible and the balloons will therefore float for as long as possible.
Confetti in a balloon
Of course you can put confetti in the balloon, but keep in mind that a helium balloon has a certain buoyancy. In the Qualatex Helium Chart (in the 'Lift Ability' column) you will find how many grams of each balloon it can lift. A normal sized 11 inch balloon can only lift 10 grams. The balloon itself weighs something and the ribbon hanging from it. Possibly the Hi-Float with which the balloon has been treated has a certain weight. So if you put 10 grams or more of confetti in a normal sized balloon, the balloon will not take off. The balloon will also lose buoyancy over time. The balloon may now rise with 5 grams of confetti, but it will sink back to the ground much sooner.
